great tool great entry price
This is the smaller, lighter version that does Propress 1/2" and 3/4", and you can get the jaws for Pex. 90% of applications are within the 1/2-3/4". The head turns 180 degrees for tight spaces, and is lighter than the version that can do the 1" and 1 1/2" new, but the case was missing a clip. I think the person who owned it didn't know how to use the quick jaw bolt. which is a little tricky. what a great tool I have always wanted one since we had one at work.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Nice and quick
It,s not as powerful as ones that I have rented but those do up to very large pipes. This is nice for the homeowner that deals with 1/2 to 3/4 inch copper. The cost makes it reasonable to own. Large units sell for 2,000 to 6,000 dollars. This unit is in the 1,000 dollar range not cheap but reasonable for what it does. I pressed 6 joints in about 5 minutes. To sweat those same joints wound take me the best part of a half an hour. If you do small plumbing job for yourself and family member it is handy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

If you only need 1/2 and 3/4 inch pipe
It is mini compact and can get into tight spaces. It can only handle 1/2 and 3/4 pipe but is several hundred dollars cheaper than the compact. It does an excellent job with fittings.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
