Nice to have back to basics
Easy to use. I have arthritis in my hands so don't want a clock with lots of electronic settings. This alarm is easy to set and easy off/on alarm button. Meh ... disappointing - alarm too quiet to wake one up
Low quality switches and overall cheap feel - Timex and other brands feel more substantial and with higher quality switches. LED display is really too bright. But, here is the real deciding factor: the alarm is too quiet - and fails to wake us up - and we are both light sleepers. This is a deal breaker. The lack of a schematic drawing or sufficient circuit specifications precludes replacing the alarm transducer with a louder one. (i.e., no sure way to know what voltage and current is supplied to the OEM transducer) - disappointing. Three stars because it is a clock, with an alarm, and, except for the quiet alarm, it seems to function properly - two stars off for the weak alarm and low quality feel, fit and finish.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bright!
The clock was exactly as expected as I had basically the same clock for many years and this was a replacement. I wasn't prepared for how bright it was and there was no way to dim the display. Great little alarm clock
This is a great little alarm clock--no useless feature-bloat, and it does have a battery backup. Compact size, simple to use, no radio, no electrical outlets or USB outlets. It's just a great, simple economical, little alarm clock that looks good and works well. As others have mentioned, the LEDs are very bright. But since my old alarm clock was very dim and hardly readable, this is a nice improvement. If it's too bright, you can always just turn it to face the other way.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works great, not like all the programing you have to do on all the others, simple and does the job great. Nice night light also. Good unless you need a totally dark room to sleep in. Appears Decent Clock. Regret Not Getting a Clock/Radio.
Only had it a month. Seems fine and I assume that will continue indefinitely. At the cost I regret I just didn't buy a clock radio.
