Fishman Loudbox mini charge
A perfect amp for ho e or to use at small events. Battery allows use where there may be no electricity or it is inconvenient to plug into. Fast set up this way. 2 channels are great for obvious reasons, and each channel has its own EQ. Plenty of volume and it has a direct out which allows it to send its signal to PA or another amp. Great amp for both acoustic AND ELECTRIC!!!
I played several shows using my wife's Loudbox Mini Charge, just to see if it would work for my Turbocaster Electric Guitar. It worked amazingly well, so I bought one for myself. I will use my Deluxe Reverb for smaller Jill & Kevin duo shows, but with a drummer & bass player, the Mini sounds great in a little less intimate setting, and a little bit more volume, with my electric. I bought the mini loud charge because it was battery powered and rechargeable. I am using it for my acoustic guitar and a mic to play small venues (pubs or coffee house). Great features, sound and volume for acoustic guitar and vocal when you can't plug in to 110v!
It has exactly the features I want: good sound, good volume output, XLR vocal input, 1/4" guitar input, vocal reverb and EQ. Well designed! One small suggestion for a future product: add rear wheels and a telescoping luggage handle, for easier portability, because it is heavy to carry in one hand with an acoustic guitar in the other hand. I bought the Magna Cart Personal 150 lb Capacity Aluminum Folding Hand Truck, and use that with bungee cords to cart it around, and that works great.

Great acoustic sound, outlet-free portability
The Fishman Loudbox Mini was already a great amp, with faithful and transparent acoustic guitar sound and vocal output, and subtle reverb and chorus. Where other amps I've played through produce a midrange-heavy sound that obliterates much of the nuance of acoustic guitar and vocal, the Fishman is both sophisticated and easy to use. It's also very portable. With the Charge, I can play anywhere I want, haunting parks and spaces without outlets to my heart's content, until the authorities or the grumpy neighborhood denizens show up - they haven't, so far. Fishman did well to add texture to their Tolex, which previously picked up nicks and scratches if you so much as breathed on it. This little amp is real godsend for the pop-up musician.
