    podDI a nice update of the PC-DI

    I have bought many of the PC-DI over the years, mostly in my work with schools and churches. I also have used them as instrument DI for stereo electronic keyboards and even string instruments like Chapman Stick and electric bass. Although they are a little bit pricey, they sure work well. So when it was time to update the equipment at my current church, I noticed the podDI. It has three major advantages over the PC-DI: it is lower cost (yea!), it is simpler to use, and it has the two volume knobs. For the applications I mostly specify, making it simpler to use is an important advantage. For the use in a church, having the volume knobs is a big advantage because on one situation - when the choir is going to sing along with a backup CD.
