Costs way too much to have moisture inside all “sealed” areas with switches and wiring shot! This is a bit bigger unit that has to be rewired and uses larger 1 inch couplings but it’s a “hoss” so far and pumps circles around my old unit… don’t waste your money on an American name that doesn’t have near the quality it once had. Buy this little pump and even if it dies in two or three years you’re only out half the money !

Works best if you discard the street elbow fitting and dropping the line size to 3/4 inch pipe for this application. The unit is a bit noisier than expected but it seems to be working as it should. I can't comment on longevity since I've only used it twice, now. Being as I won't be running it much, I think it'll hold up for a long time.
