The matte black is a vinyl sticker it looks and feels great and covers up the scuffs and marks that you get on all used or refurbished Wii u consoles cause the glossy finish is ridiculous and the vinyl was applied well. Console works perfectly so does the game pad and the game pad screen was in great condition. All parts came as advertised no issues.
