Title matches the kid's ability.
I study psychology and I found it rather engaging. I couldn't believe how skinny Donnie Wahlberg was in his role. I understand he lost 43 lbs to play his part of Vincent Grey!! Astonishing!! Too bad he had so little screen time.

No big deal
This film might have salvaged the director's career but I fail to see what's so special about it. I bought it for a class and I'm glad I never invested in it before.

Exciting Iconic movie which you will watch over and over
An exciting movie from start to finish which everyone should view. It teaches Life Lessons. It teaches about love and devotion. It teaches about responsibility and going the right thing even if it not easy. Exciting scenes which both keep you on the edge of your seat as well as make you think about Life and Death. Make sure you watch the Bonus scenes. A famous actor is in the movie BUT you probably will not recognize. Identification is in the Bonus scenes.

Sixth Sense Gets Your Senses Going
I saw this movie on screen when it first came out and then watched someone else's video of it later on and really liked it. I bought it because I wanted my family to be able to watch it and share it with friends. This movie depicts a loving, though work absorbed psychiatrist who tries to redeem himself both for a professional error and his failure to maintain the kind of connection with his wife he feels she deserves. Throughout the movie you see the doctor (played by Bruce Willis)use his cool detached style to coax the boy into reveling his secret. Though at first convincd the boy is psychotic, the doctor comes to understand that not everything can be easily explained away and helps the boy face his demons. The boy's mother played an outstanding role in the film. She was supportive of the boy without letting him get by with what she saw as his bad behaviour and showed a laudable and realistic combination of concern for her child's welfare, unquestioning love for him and a determination to make her family work. At the surprising end of the flim it all comes together to reveal that the secret actually was the doctor's. Great movie. Not the usual swagger and action Willis is usually in, but his persona was perfect for this film. I would not recommend for young children as several scenes depict mangled corpses.
Fantastic all round.Still 4/5 stars
Have you ever watched a scary movie in the dark, and almost swore you saw someone moving out of the corener of your eye? I have, and after seeing this movie it happened a lot more. "The Sixth Sense" has great performances from Bruce Willis (who plays Malcolm, an emotionally wounded psychologist)and Haley Joel Osment (who plays Cole, a little boy with a remarkable gift:he sees dead people) The screenplay is wonderful. "They don't know they're dead," laments Cole."They think they're alive. They see what they want to see." Malcolm is determined to help him. His marriage has been failing ever since an old case that showed almost the same symtoms shot him in the side and then killed himself.Malcolm is determined not to let that happen to Cole. This is a remarkable movie with a Hitchcokian twist at the end.Watch it, and you'll be doing double takes next time you feel that strange presence behind your back.
