    Testing done by the user missed a significant problem

    The unit does not re-tension tapes before ejecting causing the tape to spill out of the cartridge & become tangled around the tape mechanism (and damaging the tape in the process). Otherwise the unit records and plays-back as expected. The few scratches on the unit were well documented in the write-up.
