    Good upgrade for connectivity and latest technology

    Nice unit, met my primary needs of updating my older Denon AXV-3805. Set up is best accomplished through the Audyssey feature which calibrates the speakers with the included microphone (older units did not include the mic). I run a 7.1 configuration with an additional, preamp supported, Zone 2. Set up can get dodgy - the manual is downloaded online and runs 298 pages. I haven't noticed any appreciable differnence in sound quality. Best feature which made it worth it for me is the ability to receive internet radio and streaming services along with the phone app control. There are hundreds of internet-based radio stations to choose from, along with Amazon, Spotify, SiruisXM, Pandora, etc all on the very good HEOS app which runs with the remote control app for the unit.

    Nice receiver, tons of features, buy it , you will not be disapointed.

    This Denon receiver is great. I replaced a 10 year old Harmon Kardon with the Denon and am glad I did. I use Crown pro amps for bi-amped front speakers and my sub. One thing to note is the bi-amp mode on the receiver does not allow you to set specific cross-over points, eq or levels for the bi-amped speakers. I just use the pre-amp out puts to the crown amps and use their built in crossovers.

    Few words regarding the Denon AVR-X3500H

    The AVR-X3500H is a great value for the price. Sound is an 8 out of 10 Ease of use and setup is a little difficult to use when mixing old and new technologies. Sill I give the unit a 4 overall score.

    Like New Condition

    It has only been a week, but everything is working good so far. I have not found any issues. Looks like everything was new. Stickers were still on the receiver, all the manuals and the mic and attenna were inside.
