    This was as pictured. The other item in the same shipment was not the edition and cover ordered and I was very disappointed about that. Looking at other recent reviews it seems other buyers have the same complaints - they send you any old cover and not the one you wanted and chose specifically because of their photo. Second frequent comment is true too - very flimsy packaging, but the books were fine. I'd say if you want a specific cover do NOT order from this seller. Otherwise fine.

    A Fine Selection from Criterion

    If you're a collector of Criterion films, this one is an early release so the special features are not as extensive as they are now, and the essay included is similarly short. Nevertheless this is an easily accessible horror/thriller with great performances, including a memorable one by Anthony Hopkins (who is not in the film for very long but makes a lasting impact). Jodie Foster is also notably strong as a woman who struggles to prove herself among the FBI, which is dominated by men. This adaptation of the novel by Thomas Harris stands on its own. It's gripping and frightening, with many iconic scenes and characters.
