    Fossil GEN 5 is a smart watch that should be on top of your consideration list !

    PROs - Perfect size and the faces out there that can be had seem endless, including animated faces. Recharge time is extremely quick. Choices of style / cases impresses... from sport to classic. Like the "still looks like a proper watch" on my wrist. Waterproof is big advantage. Shower to swimming no issues. CONs - Proprietary charger. Be certain to order a couple more chargers. One at home, one at work and one as a back up for both. If you forget to charge, there is no other way to charge. Standard app is "fair". No obvious way for sleep tracking though. Remedy is that there are other third party apps that work well with the watch's OS platform. Don't be shy about getting them.

    Cheap Wear OS watch

    I got this watch used and still love it, even being an iPhone user myself. The fact is for now Wear OS isn’t the best…it’s power hungry and a little heavy on performance needs…glad this has the 3100 because it works well but even with this chip has occasional glitches (especially in 3rd party apps) but I nonetheless would suggest this watch if you’re not looking to upgrade to Wear OS 3 since this model won’t get it but mustard just looking for a budget feature fledged watch. 8/10 would recommend (maybe 7/10 if you’re an iPhone user but that’s not the watch’s fault.)

    Very good watch

    IMO, the Fossil gen 5 watches are high quality as well as attractive. I would definitely buy again. The only negative from my perspective is the limited battery life. I get about 18 hours per day with tilt-to-wake turned on during the day, tracking about 90 minutes of workouts daily and tracking sleep with a connected app. To deal with the frequent need to charge, I've chosen to use 2 gen 5 watches. I use one during the day and the other at night. I realize this is impractical for most people, but it works for me.

    Couldn't be happier! Amazing watch

    My favorite watch I have ever had by far. Build quality is solid. It is a very polished piece of tech. I havent noticed any bugs. The most important thing to me was having a watch that I didnt have to fight everyday to actually work correctly and do what the manufacturer said it would do.It took me a few days of tinkering and adjusting it for my style but since then I just charge it and forget it. I m getting about a day to a day and a half of battery with most options on. Bottom line, buy this watch. You will love it!
