Excellent power supply at an affordable price!
I ordered this unit to replace my 50amp unit, which could barely keep up when running 4 Alpine V12 amps on the test bench. I use the power supply as well as a deep-cycle marine battery. After installing the Taramps 180A supply, wow what a difference! This unit is adjustable and I have it set at 14.4v. The amps' voltage displays now show a steady 14.1-14.4 vdc. The amps are now operating much cleaner and you can tell the difference in the sound quality. This power supply is robust, it has 1/0 input terminals, twin fans for cooling, and is built very well. It powers your load supply with ease, and has adjustable outputs to fine-tune it in. One thing you will need to pay attention to: it does not come with a wall plug, just stripped and soldered wires.
