“We're offering an outstanding group of vintage Madame Alexander dolls from an advanced local doll collector. Featuring here one of the highlights of the collection. 18" Margaret face Beaux Arts Queen Elizabeth Doll, #2020A, created in 1953. Ensemble is all original other than replacement tiara which is new; includes hard-to-find elegant purple velvet cape with faux ermine trim, long fingerless evening gloves with jeweled bracelets & earrings, blue ribbon "Sash of the Garter" with faux jewels, shoes, petticoat with hoop. Tagged gown is ivory brocade (not white) & the ermine trim to robe is also aged to a yellow/tan. The hoop petticoat has some "bumps" in the wire underneath the gown; I leave it to new owner to straighten if you wish. Wear to gloves, cape, sash. Not mint but lovely hard to find version of this Queen Elizabeth doll, overall very good condition with hair in original style. Gown will likely need a pressing/steaming after shipping.
