Carton was damaged, & all of the items were loose inside. The charger & saw had been banging against each other, causing dings and scrapes. CPO's Item description reads, "The item is in pristine like-new condition". CPO said that they would not ship a replacement, send it back & get a full refund. I needed the saw right now, so i kept it. I have bought a lot from CPO before. Disappointed...

Powerful!
Awesome product! I have been using a competitive brand cordless circular saw for several years and finally gave up on it. This saw with it's powerful 6000 RPM motor is a vast improvement! I highly recommend it! Also impressed with the long lasting battery charge.

Great saw and package deal...
The only minus is I wish Makita would provide hard plastic cases for these products. We seemed to develop that route in the 90's (moving from. metal), 00's, and 10's only now going to a clunky cloth bag that barely zippers shut with the components that came with the saw.

Best of the lot
Powerful and long battery life. Charging is fast. Saw blade brake is a plus. It needs a laser line for accurate cutting.

36 volt 7 1/4 in Makita
Compared to the six and a half inch 18 volt, this thing is a beast. Next thing best to an electric seven and a quarter saw. Seems to be built much better than the six and a half inch model.
