I added some chain bar lube which I ran it for a bit to make sure the chain was lubed before I started using it. Pole saw cuts good. I lay it where I'm going to make the cut. Then I raise it up some to get the chain spinning before I lower it to try to keep from jamming up the chain. The pole saw does have some weight to it like what some other reviews have stated. I like it so far

The only issue is that the seller just slapped the shipping labels on the OEM box and sent it to me like that. This has become a regular thing on Ebay. The problem with doing it like that is that the OEM box was never designed for the rigors of shipping. The box is too thin. Fortunately, the item I bought arrived safe and sound. There was just one small spot where the OEM tape had broken.
