Synopsis
This is the updated third edition of the hilarious and at times harrowing autobiography of Perry McCarthy, alias 'The Stig' on BBC TV's world-famous Top Gear., Perry McCarthy decided at the age of 18 that he wanted to reach the top in the world's most expensive sport. With no racing experience, no cash, and little going for him except a passion for speed, the exuberant Cockney shouldn't have stood a chance. He never gave up, however, and his relentless search for backing and recognition led the man The Times dubbed 'the world's unluckiest racing driver' to heroic, often hilarious and sometimes heartbreaking efforts to make it into Formula 1. This is his autobiography.

Very slow to arrive (well past the estimate), but came safely at last in minimalist packaging. Customer service was polite when contacted regarding delay and an initial lack of tracking details. After communicating with them, the tracking eventually began to provide updates but it was a long wait. The book was a different edition than pictured but it was in a “very good” condition as advertised; also it was fairly priced. Overall, I am satisfied except for the very long wait.
