This is a very elegant chronograph with the smoothest sweep hand you have seen and nice contrast between the face and hands. It has also has a nice chronograph feature. It comes with a nice leather band that is quite classy. The lume is not great, but just use it with light and your wont have a problem. Watch is okay.
Watch is okay, a little bit disappointed that the hands are not aligned properly. Also, the spring bars are cheap and will most likely break off quickly I can already feel them crackling. The mechanism itself functions, I have not opened the case yet but it definitely feels light. Bulova makes good watches and with the release of the new Precisionist Series, there are many improvements on this specific model. Overall not disappointed seeing I did not buy the watch at retailer price, but having tried on the watch first I don't think I would've bought it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Excellent watch (but a bit bulky)
I've been looking at a Precisionist watch since they game out in 2010 but have been turned off by the ugly and bulky case designs until I saw this model. I love it, my only gripe is it's still bit thick at 14.5mm but the proportions otherwise are a lot nicer than I expected for a 44.5mm watch. It wears smaller than the Bulova Lunar Pilot (which I also have). It has so much going for it though: high accuracy quartz, unique chronograph functions and along with a modern but NOT garish looking design. Fantastic display of Bulova Precisionist elegance!
Fantastic watch! Great quality for the price. I get excited watching how smooth the second hand glides around the face of the watch. Any watch that is accurate +/- 10 seconds per year is definitely a keeper. The leather band makes this work well with a suit as well as khakis. The only cons to this watch are the lack of lume and a mineral crystal. This is one of my favorites and I would buy another if this one dissapeared.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Love This Watch!
Always wanted a Precisionist. At this price point, I could not resist. Keeps great time and is easy to set. Sweep second hand move smoothly around the face like a high end watch instead of the “ticking” motion “ you see in most watches of this type. Beautiful and Sharp Watch
You cannot go wrong with a Bulova Precisionist. Excellent time keeping that is only off a few seconds a year. The sweeping second hand is amazing and something usually only reserved for automatics, yet Bulova has managed to do it on a quartz movement. The chronograph functions flawlessly. This watch in specific looks wonderful with the included leather strap, and even better with an aftermarket one. It can easily be worn while dressing up or staying casual. Almost Perfect
The watch is really nice but as others have mentioned I have a problem with the band. It feels thin and cheap. Upon arrival it already have a noticeable crease in it, almost as if it was worn for sometime. On the plus side, the size is perfect and the sweeping second hand is very nice. Incredibly low-priced and EXTREMELY accurate quartz chronograph
This is an amazing watch, especially if you find it at a bargain price. I know it should be accurate, since it's a quartz movement, but it rivals all but my most expensive high-end swiss Ebel quartz that cost thousands more. I really like the fact that you can start the large second hand and it sweeps more smoothly than most automatic watches. A nice piece for any serious colector--especially if you're like me and like low-priced, impressive watches.
