It saved me from a flood!
This little bugger saved me from having my leaking water heater flood my basement. I got a text message late one night, then an alert from my base station saying that water was detected in the basement. I went down and the water heater had just begun to leak and there was less than an eighth of an inch of water in the drip pan. I promptly shut off the water and gas supply and a flood was averted. Worth every cent!!!
