The title is very outdated, but of course, it was relevant in the time period in which the publication was done.

Would have liked to have received an original copy of the "Green Book" or at least a reproduction of an original in the original type of book cover and pages. It's value is in its priceless historical significance.

  • The green book.

I just had to see how awful our country was to the Black people of that time. We are after all one race, the HUMAN race. My father risked his life driving from Michigan to the poverty stricken in Mississippi with another minister, smuggling school books and bibles so they could have a chance at knowledge. Why are we still holding them down today, enough is enough. This book is sad if the way that it is true.

  • Historically document

Very good content that reveals the truth of our history. Black Americans have never been safe in America. This travel book proves it.

  • Local connection

We had 2 hotels in our small town that were listed in Green Book. Good addition to my local history collection.
