You may think that I should have known that it was happening right in our home. Now that we are able to start anew with our lives, I know now that right knowledge and perspective about domestic abuse will allow me to help people to realize that no one should have to suffer under the hands of the people they love.This book is made for everyone out there that has the same fate - one in four women that you will meet will suffer abuse in her lifetime. This is a statistic that the world should not tolerate. For this reason, this book is created to inform people what domestic abuse really is, how it is perpetuated within intimate relationships, how it can be stopped, and how people can truly move on from the hurt that it may have caused.Domestic violence is something that should not be kept behind closed doors. Remember that domestic abuse does not always end with the victim escaping the abuser.
