About the Brand
Donna Karan is an American fashion designer, best known for Donna Karan New York and DKNY labels. Started out as an assistant designer, her creativity and brilliant ideas threw open the door to starting her own business in 1984. Karan gave prominence to the luxurious notes weaved into her designs and in 1992 enriched the brand by launching the first perfume Donna Karan for women – a sophisticated fruity floral scent, perfectly retaining Karan’s innovative style. Throughout the 1990s, in collaboration with Estee Lauder, both women’s and men’s fragrances were introduced to the market.
