Good sound quality
Well designed
Good value
Look great and sound good.
Let's be straight, I'm no audiophile in anyway. I do want to point out that I downgrade from a much larger, high-end Klipsch setup of 6 years but after listening to these over a few long hours, I was really happy with how they played. I did noticed the difference downgrading from a three speaker tower to a bookshelf but nothing significant if you live in a small space. They look great, play well — thanks Klipsch.

High end quality and sound for reasonable price.
The sound quality is very good. I've never owned a high quality set of speakers before, and replaced a pair of Kenwood 100 watt small plastic housed speakers with these, and boy, what a huge difference. I bought these after researching speakers for a couple of months and feel I made a great decision. I also replaced my center channel with a Klipsch rp-440c, and it is huge in size and sound. Very pleased with Klipsch. I bought the ones with the cherry wood finish and they look awesome.

RP160M speaker
Just got mine a week ago, and I have to say I am surprised as to how good these sound! I bought these to be used as my surround speakers once I get my Klipsch k402s. If a person was to get a nice sub to go along with 5 of these they would have a nice 5.1 setup. As far as for music they sound very good, not harsh at all. I did notice that some music sounds outstanding, and others blah. I had the same experience with a pair of Martin Logan Sequels years ago, and i do not fault the speakers for this as it is just the way some setups are. On my last setup of JBL 2360A speakers everything sounded great, but this was with a fully treated room.
Exceptional
I had high expectations for these speakers but had absolutely no idea that they would sound anywhere near this good. I’m a long time fan of Klipsch and have a full 7.1 setup from their premiere series. These blow away my RF-83s with regard to clarity and separation. I paired them with an Sunfire True Sub and I can’t say that I feel anything is lacking from this setup, it’s just perfect for the listening position I have them in. I got them open box in pristine condition (the box was described as being in bad shape but turned out to also be pristine). All and all, perhaps one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time.

Get em while you can!
$195.00 pr. from NewEgg. All around good performing speaker, especially for the price. Had an older pair of Klipsch bookies years ago and the top end was too dry and forward for my taste. These are not. Very balanced speaker with some slam. They can reveal sub par recordings, but that's what good speakers are supposed to do. Rear ported, so get some decent stands and keep them about 2 ft from back wall and 4 ft from side walls. I'm running them with a B&K amp and they mate well together. They come mounted to angled wood bases. I removed the bases to put on stands, but leaving them on will do no harm, especially if your placement warrants the tweeters being below ear level where you sit. Dual binding posts are cool and magnetic grills are even cooler imo. Quality build and look great with the grills on or off. They are on the big side for bookshelf class speakers and weigh about 20 lbs each, so smaller rooms and PC users might want to go for the 150s. All in all, dynamite speakers for the money. I've not heard their successors (600 M or 600 M Ii), but I would find it hard to believe that the overall sound would be glaringly different.
