About this product

Product Information

Rescue Mission plays different than all of the other action games on the Master System that require the Sega Light Phaser. Instead of protecting yourself from gunfire, you must protect medics who are moving through a warzone trying to treat the wounded. As an army sharpshooter you will need to have fast reflexes and agood aim. The enemy will attack with guns, rockets, grenades, land mines, boomerangs, tear gas, bombs, and fireballs. Your medics use a handcart to move around the battlefield on railroad tracks. Every medic moves at his own speed so some will be easier to protect than others.

  • Light Phaser Game

Rescue Mission was an attempt on Sega's part to create more shooting interactive games then their rival, Nintendo. It is a good game for it's time. Finding a working Light phaser over twenty years after the games was made maybe a challange. I also have found that some of my light phasers that work on classic shooting games like Gangster Town, Shooting Gallery and Safari Hunt, don't work so well for this game. I don't know why? If you have a working Light Phaser and like interactive games, then this one might be good to pick up for $5.00 to $10.00. The object of the game is to protect an Army Soldier who is on a rail cart. His job is to heal the wounded soldier along the railroad track. You, the shooter, must snipe off all the enemies that are attempting to kill the Army Soldier on ...
