about the case: thin hard plastic. Don't drop phone!
Not transparent.ITS darkened.input is rigid. Gotto press finger down HARD and move slow or it won't register. Outside in the cold, zero input registry. I open the case to use the phone even for just checking the time.
Also, the connector piece on the spine could be about 1/8 inch more narrow. That way the front cover would align properly. Not sellers fault. Flawed design. Good for a kid maybe.
