    This is so great, to have been able to afford one of these! Because it was refurbished, the price is so much lower than a brand new one! And it did so well mapping then vacuuming! I’m in grad school & my husband is in medical school, so it’s wonderful not to be stressed out about all of the cat hair that we don’t have time to vacuum ourselves!

    I love this vacuum, but it took me a while to get it hooked up as it does not say that there’s a certain requirement of so many gigahertz of Internet. I had a 5.0 and it needed a 2.4 so I had to call my cable company and do a lot of work to get this communicating with the robot. I wish I had known that, but, work is all done, and I love the vacuum cleaner

    Second time buying an i4 refurbished from irobot and you basically can't tell it's not new! We also like it over the 600 series we used to own as hair doesn't get caught in the brushes as easily and it's smarter at avoiding climbing on things it shouldn't.

    Replaced our long owned iRobot Roomba 690

    It was like new out of the box. It was easy to set up and connect to my internet. I put the unit on the home base to obtain a full charge and then followed the directions to map my downstairs. This was a bit of a struggle to get it to map my home's first floor. I had delete the maps several time as they were incomplete, missing whole rooms or not saving the map after a mapping run. Finially it mapped the entire downstairs, not sure what was different, but now it is cleaning the entire downstairs and getting it all! It will also now goes to any room to clean that i select manually. The cleaning job is very nice too, I would now give it a 5.

    unbelievably noisy. unit seems to be in good condition, powers on and cleans okay.

    Works okay. Looks brand new. Makes an AWFUL racket when running. The entire duration of the cleaning cycle the machine is making an incredibly loud CHKCHKCHKCHKCHKCHK sound. The noise is due to the green rubber "brushes". The rubber is soft to the touch but hard enough to make an awful noise on hardwood floors. The actual vacuum motor is nowhere near as loud as the racket produced by the brushes. What an idiotic design.

    Nice product

    I love that our floors are cleaner with this robot vacuum. It does all the work for us and is pretty smart about getting its job done. The only part I haven't mastered yet is to remember to have it do its thing while I'm not home. It does make some noise and it works for a long time before the whole house is clean, so I prefer to let it run when I'm not around.

    An Unbeatable Deal on a Great Time-Saver

    What a GREAT DEAL! This iRobot i4 is a wifi-enabled robot vac designed by the industry leader in Cambridge Mass. It traverses hard floors, rugs, carpets and thresholds with ease, and it does a better job vacuuming than I do and I'm told I'm a little OCD about it. The i4 features room mapping and a very effective sensor capability to avoid stairs and find its docking station, as well as user-replaceable parts to keep it in top shape for years. This item, refurbished by iRobot, arrived in like-new condition and performs like a new unit. This is an unbeatable price and an unbeatable value on an excellent and thorough cleaning time-saver. We like it so much we bought a second, one for upstairs and one for down.
