Excellent clinical tool for general practice
I am not an expert on acoustics, stethoscopes, or for that matter auscultation; however, the scope is well built, solid, and does offer good clear soundings for heartbeat, breathing/lung, throat and gut. It is superior to my other scope, which is of clinical quality, but I have not compared it to any Littmann models. I mainly based my purchase on reviews from a website focused on equipment for PA's in training, many of whom do like the scope and are using it professionally, finding it to be cost-effective and efficacious. At this early stage of limited usage, I would say the stethoscope is of high quality and I am very satisfied. The box contains a name tag and spare parts. ADC offers lifetime warranty and product support.
