    great features for the prise

    Have only started using it recently but find it very user friendly and accurate . The different settings such as jewelry, and coins comes in handy for eliminating junk metals. It is lightweight making it easy to use without tiring out your shoulder.

    Found "Treasure" within first 5 mins

    I recently had roof replaced and while picking up roofing nails is not a treasure, it helped make my yard safer for pets and children. Within 5 minutes I also dug up an old Hot Wheels from '79 that I lost in my childhood. Really neat and looking forward to what else there is to find! Features are easy to use and understand. Without headphones, this unit has no volume control, but I figured to plug in the headphones and turn the volume on them all the way up, but do not wear them, and it gives the option of lower volume while not attached to a cord to my head.

    A Garrett ACE 300 ~ Easy Assembly~ Easy to Learn~WaterProof~ Very Well Made

    I am having the most fun learning how to use this detector, which is far better than my older unbranded detector I bought elsewhere years ago. I love how it tells me trash from treasure! We recently went out along the shore line of the Chesapeake Bay near the mouth of the Rappahannock River here in Virginia to sift through the sand, just after Hurricane Dorian had left. Didnt find anything to talk about, lol, but had much fun digging in the sand. The unit I bought has a great little console cover to help protect the electronics inside, and also, it was a breeze to assemble as well. Cant think of anything bad to say! I love it !

    Carefully Read Description

    My machine hasn't arrived yet and after further review of the description, it wasn't what I needed. I live on the Tx Gulf Coast and my hunting would be primarily on beaches. The problem is, the detector will not function well in WET salty sand or the waters edge. It operates on 8 khz and folks advised me to get a multi frequency machine. But that's not in my budget. This machine will work in shallow freshwater and it's beaches, if any!! I'll give this machine a GO for now and hopefully I can find some dry sand. Lesson learned here.....Read the machine's description very carefully on any detector you may want to buy, especially the ones in this price range. Well, it finally got here and I sent it back unopened. Simplex+ is my choice. USMC 66'-

    Better than I thought!!

    I'm new to metal detecting. I wanted a machine that wasn't too expensive but capable of being used after I gain some experience. This machine has been great so far. Also it has been very accurate. I haven't found a great payday yet but I've found some really cool stuff. For this beginner the garrett ace 300 has been great
