Christopher Eccleston (SHALLOW GRAVE, EXISTENZ) plays the ninth incarnation of the time lord, and with U.K. pop starlet Billie Piper playing the part of his companion, Rose, the Doctor embarks on yet more far-flung and improbable adventures: traveling 5,000,000,000 years into the future as the Earth is about to be swallowed by the sun, escaping from a mysterious space-station where the contestants are trapped in demented versions of popular reality-TV shows, and facing an old and terrible menace, the Daleks. This release contains the entire first season of the show.

    Look to the past for the solution to the future

    With so many Galactic Distresses in the news(BBC, NPR), The Doctor(Who) should consider some more direct(root cause) solution. One old StarTrek Fortran program had such a solution. I seem to remember it was called the DEATH RAY. It was quite effective, however it did(as I recall) cause all Stars to go super nova.

    Disappointed

    The only problem I have is with the second disc which was totally unreadable, otherwise, the rest of the disks were fine. I know I was buying it used, but I’m a little disappointed.

    Very Entertaining For The Whole Family

    I am a long time Dr. Who fan. Watched when a kid. However, this new updated version of Dr. Who, first series, is even better than the original. The characters are more drawn out and the stories are very entertaining and keep you on the edge of your seat waiting for the next episode.
