Among the best...
Partanna is among the best ! Great table oil for salads and olives, cheeses, hummus, pastas, ect. Truly a great brand of REAL EVOO. If you're concerned that its a bit pricey...that makes sense only to someone that hasn't had a pallet for real olive oil. When you sample some of the top shelf oils you will instantly understand though. You truly get what you pay for in the evoo world. Live a little...buy the good stuff, and enjoy life. Sample some other good import brands too. You will be amazed. (Another fave is Paesano brands. trust me) This PartannaTaste: mild, fruity, peppery aromatic.

First time using this brand
Partanna has a peppery smell, it has fruity, peppery flavor. It is little thin. The previous brands that I used were American brands and it was thick. But I am not an expert. But in general it was a lot better then the ones I used before. It seems like a good olive oil.

Best In Many Years
For several years, I've been searching for an olive oil that reminded me of my father. He was Italian and a truly fantastic cook. I remember the aroma of olive oil and fresh herbs every time he cooked and the flavor it added to the dishes he made. Of course, I had no idea why or how the food tasted like it did, but we age, memories grow and we question things, or at least I do. One day, I realized it was the olive oil, so my search began. I must have tried 30 different brands ordered by mail or the typical grocery store oils, even the pricey ones. Cali oils are out, smooth to say the least, but I wanted the "bite" his oil gave. I also remember when he would fry something, it would spit and spatter like crazy. None of the oils I used gave me any of these things. On a chance, I ordered this. It arrived and I cooked with it. My place was filled with the aroma I remembered. The flavor was wonderful, robust. Nothing like "Americanized" oils where we want the benefits of olive oil without the aroma and flavor. I was told this at a "high-end store" by the "expert". True Italian oil is what this is. Try it. It is the only oil I will use now.

Best natural flavor ever tasted
I can't find a another olive oil that has the taste this olive oil delivers. I consume 6 liters myself per year. It's a one of a kind taste. I was turned on to this oil by a friend who purchases the oil at the village in Sicily at the location of production. No other oil for me now can take its place.

For the price it’s a very good olive oil. A light green and tasty oil. It is great for cooking and a nice light taste in salad. This was my first time using this brand and I will purchase this again.
