    Dissatisfied with battery, it seemed it didn't work too good I had to move it around inwards a bit for it to eventually work without the charging port but I don't know if that helped it permanently. We'll see. I also see a few scratches but I expected this to happen as it's not brand new nor the actual psp in the photo. I like that there was an SD card I didn't expect. I do like the psp, very fun just hope the battery is the only problem and not the psp itself in the future. Thank you.

    This is my 2nd time purchasing from this seller. The first unit I bought arrived quick and was in good shape, but this 2nd unit took a bit longer (3 weeks) & looks a lot worse than the first did. Covered in scuffs and scratches including some deep scratches on the front and one big one on the screen I can feel with my nail. However it does work well. Will probably end up having to replace the screen & possibly shell. A decent value still, but if you need a pristine console I’d be wary.

    Worked out great.

    My old black psp 3001 had a broken latch for the screens transfer ribbon, so getting a new one was my only option. Finding this used one for cheap worked out really well. Got a 32gb memory card for it and have all my ps1 classics installed already. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was because the face plate has a bit of a deep scratch in the middle of the screen, and the battery appears to be a bit shot as it gets to about 60% battery life after an hour and then just dies. I still had my old psp to swap the face plate and battery with thought so it's all gravy.

    Memory Card Problem

    Overall this was a good purchase however there is supposed to be 2gb of memory but I can only get 1000 some mb. I had to go and delete all the previous saved games manually and that was kind of annoying.

    It's good for an outdated console.

    I recently got the bug to replay the classic Spyro trilogy, and found out that I can buy them online for a PSP and be able to play them anywhere. So I searched and searched for a great priced psp3000 and finally found one. I still haven't bought the games but I'm excited to relive my childhood. The only downside is that you can't connect to the Internet with older PSPs anymore, so I have to connect it to a ps3 or pc. It might be worth it to go through all that trouble, though.

    PSP3001

    Very lightweight and portable gaming console. This is for a 5 YO child and believe he will take to it well as long as I can find some reasonable game disks that interest him. It should last for awhile (notwithstanding battery) so eventually he will grow into it anyway. Only issue is WIFI which will not connect via modern protocols. Will not change my WIFI device to allow this to connect anyway. Makes updates, Skype and any downloads very time consuming and technical.

    Mystic Silver Sony PSP-3000 Portable Gaming Console

    I bought the Mystic Silver Sony PSP-3000 for a bit of nostalgia gaming. I had a few back in the mid 2000's when they were the portable console to own. They were way ahead of their time! They as still impressive, even 14 years later! The one I purchased is in near mint condition, and I paid $97.50 for it with charger and case. A GREAT value. It seems the PSP's are steadily rising in value due to the popularity of retro gaming. I easily paired it with my Sony PS3 console, so I could purchase and download games. If you are into retro and nostalgia gaming, I HIGLY recommend buying one before they get too expensive. Be sure to do your homework, and get one that has been lightly used, so it will last. You can find them brand new, but you will pay!
