Item was as described and arrived on time. The original box it came in was dinged up due to the soft packaging used for the shipment, but it's a hard drive. I don't think you could get extra value from the box after a few years of normal use.
The scratch-preventing plastic cover protecting the plastic on the drive was/is naturally bubbly which was interesting, but no qualms. The drive went through rigorous tests and didn't appear to have any problems. Will buy again from this seller if needed.
