This is really helping my inflamed knee joints due to Arthritis. Bromelain EASES ARTHRITIS PAIN Pineapple, Ananas comosus Origin: Group of enzymes found in pineapple that break down protein. Dosage: Capsules and tablets; take 500 mg to 2,000 mg three times a day between meals. Claims: Decreases pain and swelling of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and osteoarthritis, and increases mobility. What we know: There is some evidence that enzymes like bromelain have pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects comparable to NSAIDs. Studies: A 2005 study done in Germany showed that bromelain activated immune cells that fight infection. This works. I have been on it two weeks, I can walk up steep stairs with a pain threashold of .5 on a scale of 1- 10, It used to be a 9. Going down stairs ... I take 2 at night with 1 Glucosamine Sulfate. I noticed pain relief within 2 days of taking Bromelain, I took two before a Rock and Roll gig, I perform in a band, I danced all night no pain, no pain the next day after the gig either. I also use it for my allergies. I take 3 Quecetin/Bromelain in the morning, that dosage really helps my allergies. I have been on that combo for 7 years.

Bromelain is freakin awesome!
I’ve been using bromelain on and off for years now and I highly recommend It saved me a few times from a severe stomach ache and is supposed to help with inflammation as well. I highly recommend it!
