Seller shipped the package as indicated - the problem fell with FedEx Ground stating that the recipient refused shipment - not once but 3 times. Finally, on day 4 of attempting to deliver - it arrived. She absolutely loves the glass. The fact that the original box was included made it even more special. Packaging was great. Value is awesome. The apothecary jar is in perfect condition = just as described!!!

A great engine.
First and most important it scared the daylights out of my cat. Which is a good thing because she now leaves it alone. Engine and tender arrived in good condition. This engine was part of a set, so I do not have a box for her. Which is okay. She ran very well by herself and when pulling my C&NW passenger cars. The sounds where typical of this era engine but where clear and crisp. I liked the bell and whistle, they fit her size and type of engine. The chuff rate when running was perfect. Talk about being dependable - this one is.
Brand new Lionel engine made just like the post war engines which still run today. This engine will out live me. No circuit boards to fail. No batteries to worry about. Store it away for years and just a few tiny drops of machine oil on drive shafts and moving parts will bring it back to life.
