What I like about this is the ability to brighten and dim the light as needed and another great feature is the fan and the forward and reverse for when you're cooking to put it from the opposite direction and when it's really hot and put it where the air flowing down and there's also is very speed.

The listing did not indicate if this remote came with a receiver or if it would work with AC ceiling fans. I asked these questions directly of the seller. The confirmed it came with the receiver and that it would work with AC fans. Upon arrival, the receiver has printed on it in big, bold print "For DC fans only." Very annoyed by this.
