    Very fun 2 player game strategy game

    Game play is simple and straightforward. Focus is on strategy - execution of battle orders are very fun. Action cards are used to affect specific troops or areas of battle. The dice roll determine the outcomes for battle. Troop types (infantry, armor, artillery) along with Terrain conditions make the game realistic and challenging. The scenarios are well thought out and range from easy to challenging. Quality and pieces supplied are very nice. My 12 year old learned the game quickly and taught me how to play (yes I verify the rule book). Given this products availability I would suggest getting it if you're interested. It won't be easy to find forever.

    The little war game that can.

    Memoir ’44 by Days of Wonder is a light war game/board game that I hold close to my heart. It is similar to a miniatures war game game, but easier to get non-war gamers players to play. Whether a person plays just board-games or no games at all, most people are willing to give this game a shot because it looks so cool on the table. The mechanics are simple enough that it is easy to teach, yet there is a good deal of strategy. Lots of fun scenarios and lots of expansion armies available to relive and rewrite history.
