    Rattling blade

    One of the fan blades rattle and is noisy. I use it to cool down my room overnight while I'm sleeping, but the rattle from the blade is disturbing. I have the same make and model fan, that I purchased a few years ago, that does not rattle. The product appears to be refurbished instead of an open box. I would send it back, but it would cost almost as much to send back then what I paid to purchase it.

    Lightweight Performance.

    This fan does fit the windows better than most. The airflow on high is lower than I expected, but I guess that's the trade off for being quiet. Thermostat does work, but if your room temperature hovers around the trigger temperature, the fan will cut on and off a lot. Mine was cycling for 30 minutes before I finally had to lower the temperature.

    Excellent, well designed fan

    The fan is not made with cheap plastic. You can use it as a fan to blow air in or with a touch of a button use it as an exhaust to suck out stale air. Fits perfect in my window. You can also set it at a temp and it will automatically come on even when your not at home. I have pets so in the winter I use the exhaust and I love the fact that I don't have to take the fan out of the window and turn it around to use this feature. I'm an elderly lady and I installed it by myself so set up was a breeze. The slim design looks great. It is quiet for a fan and doesn't vibrate in the window. I bought a Lasko and it looked cheap and I had a difficult time adjusting the things on the side to put it in my window and then it didn't fit. The cold air from outside came in around it.
