    Best of the Wah Pedals and Very Versatile

    I bought my first Wah pedal new in 1972 for $42. Made by Thomas Organ Co back then. I saw this Dunlop with the boost and frequency range control and like the versatility. I purchased the pedal which was manufactured in 2001, and it didn't have the notch filter sound. It was more like a volume pedal or tone control. I found the old capacitor in the tank circuit had dried out and ceased to do its job. I replaced the 4.7uF capacitor next to the inductor, and it works like new. I like to buy bargains and fix them up if needed. I like the ability to limit the upper range of the Wah and also be able to change the width of the notch filter. It's a very versatile pedal and well worth the $150 it costs new. It's amazing the prices for these pedals really haven't increased that much overall through ...
