Best coating EVER
I bought this product 3 times, and will probably buy it again soon. I used it on my piano shell and it worked like a dream. Following tips from a YouTube video , it was exactly what I needed for a beautiful tough, road worthy finish. I even used left over product on my pick up truck bed and it looks brand new, it'sscuff resistant and touches up easy and seamlessly. It can be applied to pretty much anything you want a sleek black finish that will withstand water, weather, sun, even pet claws! HIGHLY recommended! I did 2 dual 18 cabs that had the carpet on them, I sanded them down to the glue! could not get all the glue off, they came out like a pro finish

Better than carpeting a speaker box
After reading other reviews I tried duratex last year applying it to one of the subwoofer boxes I made. I was impressed to say the least. I calculated the surface area and based on the recommendation from Acry-Tech on their product doc I bought the smaller 1 quart and it worked out just fine coating the whole box with one thick coat. I originally used their textured roller too. Once dry this stuff is hard not brittle. It does have an odor so either apply it outside or with some sort of face covering. I never really liked carpeting speaker boxes nor do I like how it looks, and this imo is a complete dollar for dollar better option or replacement.

Well worth the higher price for a quality product.
this stuff is amazing quality , awesome durability and application is easy after a few how to videos and tips from YouTube . It's kind of pricey but worth it because of the results LOL I've tried other similar products, but they were nowhere near as good. Great stuff, ive used it a few times on custom speakers, only thing id recommend is a bigger roller instead of the 4 inch to not show seam lines as much, thats the only issue ive had and requires more time to get right
