    They don't make things like they used to

    The older brand is smaller, which reaches the base of the lashes better. The rubber piece is also better, it fits the metal base more securely, doesnt pop out like newer ones do, and is bit softer.

    What Happened to the Spring?

    I only bought this for the extra refill. I already have a Revlon curler but it has a spring which really makes it superior. My husband was able to adapt the refill to my curler. I won't use this curler until my current one is really unusable.
