    Good for me as back up phone and 4G/wifi hotspot - but not good for anything else much

    I primarily purchased this as, first, a back up phone and, second, to provide a 4G mobile hotspot. It looks like to will fulfil both of these requirements fine. Probably my biggest disappointment was in being unable to log on my microsoft account and in wondering if this was due to some settings left on the phone I did a factory re-set which has taken it back to Windows 8. Like I say it looks like this is not going to compromise I main reasons for the purchase - but other prospective buyers should be aware that mone of the "smart phone" functions have limited if not totaly compromised functionality due to the phone Windows operating system (and the Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser included) not longer being supported with no upgrade or additional app downloads now available.

    Only wanted a phone for texting and calls and this is it. paid £20.00 for mine refurbished looks like new. had windows 8.1 but easy to upgrade to windows 10. Just enter in google "over-the-cable updater tool for windows phone 8.1 and windows mobile 10" straight forward process if you have a windows pc/laptop.
