    Durable

    I've been using this for over a year in my Mirage G4 with no issues. There's a noticable weight to the solenoid once installed in the trunk door which takes some getting used to. This unit works well with the Compustar system I had installed at Best Buy. The system included installation since I purchased it from them but this unit cost $50 to install whether i purchased it from them or somewhere else so keep that in mind.

    Good quality and works great!

    I bought this for my car because i wanted to unhook my factory trunk release to prevent thieves from getting into my trunk if broken into but i still wanted a way to get in (my trunk key cylinder's busted). Ive been using it for awhile now and it great. Ive also wired it to work with my viper car alarm so i use it with the remote. I didnt use the button though cause i wanted to hide it among the factory buttons (now my crusie control button opens the trunk)
