    Manufacturer cut corners

    I could only give this item 4 stars. I had previously purchased the exact same item. The strength of the item from the previous purchase was that the electric motor could have the bolts removed so it could be rotated 90 degrees and then the bolts could be installed in this position. When I went to make this adjustment when installing the new winch, the holes had not been drilled or tapped into the housing. Having to dissemble and complete the machining was not something I expect to have to do. It now works great, but not exactly thrilled by the factory cost savings attempt.

    Warn is great quality but move expensive than the Chinese equivalent

    I got this to replace my 3700. It looks exactly the same except there is a rubber cover over the connector pins for the remote . They have a thicker cable and that’s most likely the difference to get 4000 lbloading
