    This was advertised as an original Motorcraft part. It came in a Motorcraft bag, but it is not Motorcraft. It is a super cheap copy. I will not waste my time installing it. I have ordered one from another source.

    OEM sensors are the only way to go

    The Motorcraft DY967 is a direct fit for my 2000 Ford Explorer 4.0 overhead valve engine. Although that part will fit many different configurations as far as engine size and year, but I’m still having trouble with mine and I have discussed with the Ford professionals and found out that they have a throttle positioning sensor made just for my overhead valve engine, that will read better from the PCM, that’s what I’m looking for. Mine is still not registering a signal like it should but it’s no fault of the part.
