    Sony walkman

    I had one of these in the day and lost it. I found this one brand new in the plastic from 1996 and replaced the rubber belt for the cassette. This thing sounds great. The am and fm radio also work.

    Some maintenance may be required.

    These cassette players are all long in the tooth. The cassette transport uses a thin drive belt that starts slipping as it ages. Unless a new belt has recently been installed the player will not continue to work properly. A Slovakian eBay seller makes and markets them. You need to be somewhat handy to take the player apart and replace the belt.
