    Solid build quality, performance and waterproof!

    I have used several of these and they always perform exactly as intended. My only issue was when I crossed wires and accidentally fried one - seems a bit sensitive to that. Overall this is a solid ESC that performs well for mid-level Traxxas fun. They seem to work flawlessly for about 2.5 years with a couple times a month use before I start getting glitches. For example, they start needing to be reset every few uses due to steering twitching or random out-of-control throttle. This has happened on two separate ESC units (this same model) so I think it is just a sign of age. I have no comparison with other ESC whether that is good lifetime or not. Overall, I would recommend this ESC, but like almost everything RC don't expect it to last forever.
