    SVS-VULC Actually Works!

    SVS-VULC actually works! It makes a patch stick to a butyl tube. You can even light it on fire and do a "hot patch." I had given up trying to patch tubes, choosing to just replace them. Now, I actually can patch tubes. Note: Keep the cap on the tube as much as possible. Because it is flammable, it probably contains volatile compounds bad for the environment. Unfortunately, the cements that don't contain those compounds are ineffective at attaching patches, resulting in more tubes being disposed of, also bad for the planet.
