Best Rice Cooker in the World!
I eat rice, I eat a lot of rice. I never knew that I cooked the rice incorrectly, or did I? The engineering and design of this cooker was well thought out; the platinum infused bowl helps to change the water from acidic (because of harsh chemical treatment) to alkali, the induction heating forces pressure through each kernel to ensure it is completely cooked, and the design is beautiful compliment to any countertop. Even with a retail cost of $750.00, if you cook rice often and consider using it for 5 years, you're spending $12.50/month for a premium device. GABA Rice Cooker is excellent
Just the GABA rice feature alone makes this a worthwhile purchase. All the different setting for different varieties of rice plus some vegie and rice combos make this a very useful appliance if you are a regular rice eater. Besides normal set your Jasmine rice to softer or firmer or our preference Umami. Because of the steam and pressure capabilites, the lid is a bit harder to clean then the old style but not a problem and certainly not a deal breaker. Best rice cooker on the planet!
I had purchased a much cheaper rice cooker and never seemed to get the perfect cooked rice all the way through. When making sushi, it is important to have rice that's not gummy, cooked on the top and wet on the bottom. I went out on a limb and spent a lot of money to purchase the Zojirushi NP-NVC10 and it is incredible how good this cook the rice. It is 100% perfect every time and all the way through.
