Kool Chemex for Hot Koffee!
Chemex pour over is great! The thing for me is, aside from making a robust flavorful cup of Joe, it's fun! I bought this 2nd unit (I already have the model with the wooden half-rings that go around the neck) mainly because of the handle. Less to mess with! This unit, also, came with brown filters instead of the white. I'm not positive yet but, I may actually like the brown ones better. Up till now I've only used the Chemex square white filters. However, the white ones have a strange odor when you "rinse" them with hot water prior to adding your coffee grounds. Either way, you get great coffee. It is easy to make it strong so, I would advise experimentation. I weigh out the water and beans - 35kg beans to 836kg filtered water. Makes a good-sized 2 cups. Froth and heat the half-n-half, a little honey and MMMM-MMMM! Suffice it to say, I'm happy with my purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

The Best Coffee Maker
