Love this amp
I had to replace my old AV system after it failed. After quite a bit of research into new midrange AV systems available on the market, I found a Yamaha RX-V679 receiver which had everything I wanted. I'd never owned a Yamaha receiver so this decision was somewhat a risk taking one for me, but the feature summary of this receiver and the countless reviews of the products by other consumers convinced me the Yamaha was going to be the right choice. I was not disappointed, as a matter of fact, the feature packed RX-V679 surpassed my expectations with logical and simple to use setup and operation procedures. The sound quality is a very good improvement on my previous receiver, both me and my spouse noticed music sounded even better coming through our sound system with the Yamaha receiver. I especially love the built in wireless networking with Pandora and similar apps incorporated into the reciever, these apps seamlessly integrated with my other sound system components and made for simple and wonderful sound regardless of I'm streaming or playing back CDs. I can't really think of anything I've been missing with this receiver, I'm very happy with it and would highly recommend to others.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
