    A long, long train!!!!

    I had waited for a good while for Walthers to re-issue the UMAX 53' container. I have purchased many, many of them since then to make my intermodal train more dramatic (75 cars long!!!!). As always the Walthers' UMAX containers are accurately detailed just like the real thing! I compared photos of the real one with the Walthers' offering. You cannot tell the difference! The colors match perfectly, and all the other details of the original can be found on this offering. I run most of my intermodal cars double-stacked and have not had a problem with any top units falling off. I might just buy six more of these Walthers' UMAX containers just to make my HO CSX intermodal train even more awesome!! If you want realism, this Walthers 53' container has it all!
